about us
Property Services was established in 1988 by Michael Burrow and then 1 year later was joined by Paul Lyndon-Hogg. Property Services – SDS are specialists in the Insurance Reinstatement Industry, and in 2001 Specialist Drying Services (SDS) was established to run alongside Property Services. From our outset we have developed an extensive expertise within the insurance industry, servicing the demands of small to large corporate clients and maintaining the service standards they expect. Our innovative and user-friendly approach to applications and systems, fit well with our corporate client basis.
Our knowledge of the flood and fire industry has helped us to develop into one of the largest independent flood & fire restoration and reinstatement companies in the North constant development and knowledge has helped us develop solutions to the ever need and situations of both our clients and their policy holders, in turn this has also led us to:

Trades
All Our trades are available 24/7 364 days a year to respond to emergencies both in our day to day but also nationally during surge times. We cover all aspects of trades in house, from building, plastering, joinery and roofing through to the more specialists works of electrical, plumbing and gas works. All our staff wear standard work wear with the company emblems and always carry photo card ID for reassurance to the clients.
Vehicles
All the company vehicles are liveried with the company name emblem and telephone numbers, alongside a state-of-the-art tracker service so we know where the vans are at all times and we can give a more accurate time of arrival to jobs, saving time for all parties
Equipment
As well as day-to-day equipment for reinstatement works, we carry in stores a vast array of machines to deal with the flood and fire restoration side of the business, this includes:
Over 250 Dehumidification and Air Flow Units, ranging from DRI-EAZ 1200 to the sophisticated speedy dry machines with Wi-Fi updates.
Fogging machines both thermal and ULV applications.
Thermal Camera Service — for all trace and access reports to inaccessible areas such as tall roof lines to under small voids.
State-of-the-art roof surveying cameras, these are used for carrying out roof surveys and any other high surface unreachable from the ground, these images are then sent back to the office for closure inspection before arranging repair works and materials required.
